1. Overview
FC-OE Publisher is a self-hostable, open-source tool that lets TikTok creators publish videos to their own accounts via the TikTok Content Posting API. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how.
2. Data We Collect
| Data | Why | Retention |
|---|---|---|
| TikTok OAuth access token | Required to publish videos on your behalf | Stored until you revoke access or delete your account |
| TikTok user ID | To associate the token with your session | Same as above |
| Video files you submit | Temporarily held during upload to TikTok | Deleted immediately after successful or failed publication |
We do not collect: passwords, email addresses, analytics, or any data beyond what is listed above.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To authenticate your TikTok account and publish videos you explicitly submit
- We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any secondary purpose
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties except:
- TikTok: your OAuth token and video content are transmitted to TikTok's API to fulfill the publishing action you requested. TikTok's own privacy policy governs that data once received.
5. Your Rights
- Revoke access: TikTok Settings → Apps & Connections → remove FC-OE Publisher
6. Security
OAuth tokens are stored encrypted. We do not log video content. Self-hosted deployments are the operator's responsibility to secure.
7. Children
The App is not directed at users under 13 (or 16 in the EU). If you believe a child has used the App, contact us immediately.
8. Changes
We will post any material changes here. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
